From assessing your site and creating your vision for it to maintaining its productivity throughout the seasons, we provide lifecycle services to help your regenerative, edible garden thrive.
The process starts with a consultation and site assessment.
The first step toward working together is to have an on-site consultation and assessment of your site’s potential and challenges.
To help me get to better know your property and interests, please complete this questionnaire before our consultation. Please feel free to include any pictures or links that inspire you, that will help us to better understand what you envision, or that identify any existing problem areas.
After reviewing your questionnaire and consulting some remote research, we will reach out to schedule your consultation, followed by a visit to your property. Consultations normally require about an hour for smaller, simpler projects or up to two hours for larger properties with multiple areas to discuss.
The fee for the consultation is $100 (payable in advance through Venmo), which counts toward payment for any further design or installation services. Depending on your address, an additional travel fee for areas beyond the Annapolis/Parole area may be charged.
Custom design services for your unique context.
Our designs consider your site and preferences to promote sustainable food production, encourage biodiversity and increase resilience.
We will work with you to develop a clear design that includes projected timelines and costs. Designs generally run from a few hundred dollars for small designs on up for larger, more complex projects. We will be able to provide an estimate for developing your design once we conduct the consultation and assessment.
Gentle installation services that minimize disruption and get your new landscape off to a healthy start.
We limit the use of herbicides and try to create as little damage to surrounding areas as possible, even if it requires additional labor or a bit more time.
Installation costs vary widely according to the size of the project, level of expertise required and what is being installed. Contact us to learn more.
Coaching services to help you understand and guide your growing system to peak performance.
Once your new garden is installed, we can provide support as you learn to maintain and care for it, to help ensure that you are getting the most out of it.
Coaching can be scheduled one-time, bi-weekly, monthly or seasonally according to your needs.
Coaching services generally run $100 per hour-long visit, depending on the size of your site and your location.
Maintenance services where we guide your growing system through seasonal and successional changes as it matures.
Perhaps you’d prefer to simply enjoy your garden and leave the maintenance to someone else. We can work with that, too!
We can even shop for and bring to your property seasonal plants, fertilizers, etc.
Maintenance can be scheduled bi-weekly, monthly or seasonally according to your needs.
Maintenance services generally run $100/hour (plus materials and possibly travel, depending on location). Additional hours may be necessary for larger, more complex sites.
